We are a little less enthusiastic about the new edition: the game stuttered several times, which is not really the case with the PC edition. The bundle Radical dreamers originally appeared on the Super Nintendo and is actually an interactive novel. This makes the original’s slower moments a little easier to get through than before. What’s nice is the ability to speed up the game or have battles happen automatically. The downside is that the game doesn’t feel very smooth at twenty frames per second. This mainly results in improved character models, which now look a little more rustic. With the remaster, the game was released on all common game consoles and was revamped somewhat. For example, the beginning of the game is not set in a typical fantasy setting, but rather in a kind of Caribbean. The game was already a breath of fresh air in its genre in 1999, which can still be said in 2022.
Where Chrono Trigger In the sequel to Chrono Trigger, which was all about time travel between different eras, you find out how two worlds differ from each other due to minute differences. Gradually, a strange story unfolds, which unexpectedly resembles the previous one. On Chronocross You play young Serge, who finds himself in an alternate world where he drowned when he was a child and where no one knows him anymore. Remarkable, considering they’re both sequels to Chrono Triggerwhich is still considered one of the best role-playing games of all time. The game package Radical dreamers never even appeared outside of his home country of Japan. The Japaneses Chronocross was originally released for PlayStation in 1999, but was not initially sold in Europe.

At the start, you choose which trilogy you want to start with, after which you replay the events of the films level by level. The game includes all nine Star Wars-… movies. But the end product is an extremely elaborate game with a storyline that players young and old will find hilarious. It appears to be a purely commercial catch-all, to sell a few discs with the LEGO and Star Wars branding. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a much more entertaining game than it ever should have been.
